Vanishing Point

Despite umpteen campaign promises by various US presidents and the passing of enabling legislation (see below), the United States has yet to recognise the capital city of the State of Israel by moving its embassy to Jerusalem.

But it does maintain a consulate in Jerusalem.

Sadly this is not for the purpose of recognising the Jewish state – but to help in its erasure. Just as the Muslim Waqf acts to remove all signs of Jewish history from the Temple Mount, the US consulate has purged its Jerusalem website of Israeli or Jewish content.

That was last month’s story, which appears HERE.

Today’s story is about the United States paying for new road signs in the West Bank in English and Arabic ONLY. No Hebrew.

The spokesperson for the US Consulate in Jerusalem, Mindy Masonis, says the new signs will be part of a larger programme aimed at ‘improving conditions’ in the West Bank.

At least we now know more about what America’s “Road Map for the Middle East” is leading to.

Just like the end of that famous car chase movie of the seventies …

Vanishing Point” for the Jewish State.
